From the warzone to the boardroom, my journey to leadership and entrepreneurship has been anything but conventional. Born and raised in South Central Los Angeles, I faced the harsh realities of life as a troubled youth. Yet, it was in these early trials that I discovered a beacon of hope and strength - my faith in God. This faith guided me through the obstacles, transforming my life from a young grocery worker to a distinguished member of the U.S. Air Force.
Over 25 years in the Air Force, I served in various roles, including satellite operator, tactical planner, and C-130 aviator. I have 5,000 hrs of satellite operator time and flew 923,000 miles in peacetime and combat. This experience instilled in me discipline, resilience, and a unique set of skills that have been instrumental in my leadership journey. Despite personal failures amidst professional successes, my faith remained a constant source of guidance and inspiration.
Furthering my education, I earned a mechanical engineering degree and an MBA, thanks to a scholarship from the Air Force. This academic foundation paved the way for my transition to the corporate world, where I launched multiple products with Johnson & Johnson. Here, I learned to adapt my military leadership style to corporate settings, creating a hybrid leadership approach that has proven effective in various contexts
